“After The Fall How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again” is a heart-warming story about Humpty Dumpty’s big fall. Humpty Dumpty loved birds, so he climbed the wall to watch the birds but he fell off the wall. After the fall Humpty Dumpty was terrified of heights. This stopped him from enjoying many things in life. So to be able to watch the birds Humpty Dumpty made an airplane but his airplane got stuck up on the wall, so Humpty Dumpty went up to retrieve it but the higher up he went the more scared he got but once Humpty Dumpty reached the top he wasn’t scared anymore. There are many connections I made with this story, the first one was a text to world. My preschool was called Humpty Dumpty Nursery and we were told the Humpty Dumpty story all the time. Another connection I made was a text to text, when I was young the first poem I learned to read was Humpty Dumpty. All in all this is a great story about overcoming fears and not letting bad things bring you down.
